Aluminum door panel
Door plate in aluminium
A door panel has a pattern on the surface, which makes it more slip-resistant.
The plate is often used for horizontal surfaces, such as steps, walkways or ramps.
Door panels can also be used for trailers, where they are often placed at the bottom.
Many also use riffle plates, which is another word for plate, on vertical surfaces - for example gables, along the floor or in places where a rustic but durable look is desired.
Why an aluminum door panel?
By choosing aluminum over traditional steel, you get a lightweight material, as aluminum weighs a third of iron.
Likewise, aluminum does not rust, as black/bright steel does.
The plates are available in different thicknesses, for example 2/4 or 3/5.
This indicates the thickness without and with pattern height.
