Typar is a thermally bonded geotextile which provides a thin, relatively stiff and smooth non-water-absorbing structure that ensures good properties in relation to filtration and separation in particular.
Compared to traditional needle felt, Typar is unique due to the product's high energy absorption combined with a high initial modulus.
Typar is particularly suitable as a separation cloth in road construction, as well as as a filtering cloth in connection with the establishment of drains.
