Footing / roof footing

Footing / eaves is an important element in the roof construction, which protects the eaves in the transition between the sub-roof, base plate and gutter for correct drainage of any water that may enter the sub-roof. The footing ensures that the water is directed correctly into the gutter and not behind it.

We recommend that the sub-roof is attached to the footing with a suitable adhesive, both for tightness and to avoid flapping of the sub-roof at the foot of the roof.
