Application surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease. For pretreatment, see the technical data sheet.

Apply the adhesive in 4-8 mm stripes to the foil or connector. When you have applied the strips with adhesive, the foil must be placed tension-free and lightly pressed into place. Do not press the strip flat, the strip must maintain a thickness of ≥1 mm.

The bonding process starts after the adhesive has hardened for some time (16 to 20 hours), depending on the moisture content of the building materials. The adhesion to non-absorbent surfaces is done using the contact adhesive method.

Non-stressed joints can be reassembled due to the self-adhesive function of the adhesive film.
When working at temperatures below +15 °C, it is recommended to work with a professional glue gun, item no.: 0891 300 310.
The hardened WÜTOP adhesive film is generally very water-repellent, but you should avoid working with it in places where the humidity is always high, e.g. swimming pools or other wet areas.
