Stowage ring

The back-up ring is installed when the roof well is used for emergency drainage.
The ring is produced in stainless steel, it is reversible and so the height can be either 25 or 35 mm - depending on the desired overflow height.
Note that small amounts of water can flow from the roof surface to the roof well, even if the accumulated water on the roof has not reached the selected overflow height. This may be due to small foreign elements or geometric inaccuracies between the sealing lips of the back-up ring and the inner surface of the roof well. If a completely tight connection is required, this can be ensured by applying an MS adhesive to the contact surface of the back-up ring against the roof well.
