When installing roof wells and other membrane-integrated products for roofing felt, it is recommended that a loose piece of roofing felt be placed under the flange before the product is screwed into the roof structure.

When a roof well is secured with screws through the flange's mounting holes, the well's integrated roofing felt (500x500 mm) is welded to the loose piece of roofing felt that is placed under the flange.

The roof well is now firmly anchored in the roof surface without the possibility of movement - even in the event of major impacts from temperature fluctuations, personal weight or other factors.
