For passing pipes through the vapor barrier. The vapor barrier plate's EPDM membrane ensures an airtight penetration of the vapor barrier, and can be manually adjusted to different pipe sizes, as no holes have been made from the factory.

The vapor barrier plate is used to achieve a vapor-tight breakthrough, where a pipe must be passed through the building's vapor barrier.
