Installation of facade slate

Facade slate is installed with either a copper nail or a specially designed stainless screw , which, despite a large screw head, can become almost invisible.

When installing with copper nails, a slate hammer is used, which with a pointed end of the hammer head can punch a hole in the plate before the nail is driven in.
The slate slabs can be easily adjusted in height or length with slate scissors .

The edges are subsequently chamfered with a machine to give a uniform appearance.
